JEDDAH, JULY 17, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC), Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has sent messages to Presidents of the Organization’s member countries, calling on them to help Lebanon. Ihsanoglu has urged the leaderships of the Islamic countries to stand with their Muslim brothers in Lebanon, asking them to contact permanent members of the UN Security Council to issue a decision to bring about a ceasefire toease the sufferings of the Lebanese people and to assist them with every possible means. --SPA 17/07/2006 13:39 ت م www.spa.gov.sa/376131
