Luxembourg, April 10, SPA -- European Union foreign policy chiefJavier Solana said Monday that the 25-nation bloc shouldconsider sanctions against Iran, including a visa ban onnuclear officials, because of Tehran's refusal to cooperatewith the United Nations on its nuclear program. "We have to begin thinking about that possibility,"Solana told reporters at an EU foreign ministers meeting,which was to debate whether the EU should get tougher withIran over its nuclear plan. Solana ruled out however that the EU would back any military action.
