NEXT MONTH ISLAMABAD, MARCH 28, SPA -- THE PAKISTAN-US JOINT WORKING GROUP ON COUNTER-TERRORISM WILL MEET IN WASHINGTON ON APRIL 5-6 TO DISCUSS THE ONGOING BILATERAL COOPERATION, THE PAKISTAN INTERIOR MINISTRY SAID IN A STATEMENT. INTERIOR MINISTER AFTAB SHERPAO WILL LEAD A SIX-MEMBER DELEGATION TO THE MEETING, WHICH WILL BE THE FOURTH OF THE JOINT WORKING GROUP SINCE ITS INCEPTION IN 2002. THE DELEGATION COMPRISES SENIOR OFFICIALS OF THE INTERIOR MINISTRY. THE AGENDA OF THE MEETING COVERS ALL RELATED ISSUES, INCLUDING SHARING OF INFORMATION IN THE COUNTER-TERRORISM CAMPAIGN, MORE ASSISTANCE INCLUDING HELICOPTERS FOR THE INTERIOR MINISTRY'S CRISIS MANAGEMENT CELL AND TRAINING COURSES FOR PAKISTANI POLICE.
