Cairo, Feb 7, SPA -- A leader of the Palestinian group "Hamas," which swept Palestinian elections last month, said on Tuesday that it was very likely that one of his group's members would become prime minister of a new Palestinian government. Asked whether a Hamas member would become the new prime minister, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh told Reuters in Cairo: "This is highly expected." But he said it was too soon to talk about names.
