says Srinagar, March 18, SPA -- A car bomb exploded Saturday on theoutskirts of Srinagar, the main city in India's portion ofdisputed Kashmir, wounding three soldiers and a civilianwoman, AP quoted military sources as saying. The blast, triggered by remote control, occurred on a roadleading to a military airport as an army convoy passed,said Col. H. Juneja, an Indian army spokesman. Three soldiers and a woman were injured, Juneja said,blaming the explosion on separatist militants. Kashmir's largest rebel group, Hezb-ul-Mujahedeen, claimedresponsibility for the bomb in a telephone call to a newsagency, Current News Service.
