Jeddah, March 15, SPA -- Secretary general of Makkah-based Muslim World League (MWL) Dr Abdullah al-Turki received here today Khalid Mishal, the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Hamas Movement, and the accompanying delegation.. Speaking on the occasion, Mishal expressed appreciation for the great attention given by the MWL to the Palestinians. He also lauded the support extended by Saudi Arabia to the Palestinian cause. On the other hand, Mishal briefed Dr al-Turki on Hamas' future programs and reiterated Hamas' adherence to the resolutions adopted by the extraordinary Islamic Summit held in Makkah last December. On his part, Dr al-Turki confirmed the support of the MWL to the Palestinian cause.
