Baghdad, Oct 11, SPA -- A suicide car bomb exploded at anIraqi army checkpoint in western Baghdad on Tuesday, killing nine people and wounding 12, most of them soldiers, police said. The blast occurred at about 12 noon in the Amiriyah areaof the capital, killing eight Iraqi soldiers and one civilian, and wounding 12 soldiers, said police Capt.
