Copenhagen, Sept 26, SPA -- Denmark plans to send threereconnaissance helicopters to its contingent in Iraq aheadof a referendum and elections there later this year. The Defense Ministry said Monday the French-built Fennechelicopters will be used for observation in southern Iraqwhere the Danes are based. About 30 personnel wouldaccompany the helicopters. "We're doing it for our contingent's safety," ministryspokesman Jacob Winther said.
