explosion in Russia Makhachkala, Russia, July 2, SPA -- Investigators searched for evidence Saturday relating to a truck bombing that killed10 Russian servicemen and left some 38 other people _nearly half of them soldiers _ hospitalized in the southernregion of Dagestan. A remote-controlled bomb was believed to have caused theFriday night blast in Dagestan's capital, Makhachkala.Police said three trucks packed with Interior Ministrytroops had arrived at a bath house when the explosionoccurred. Kazanfar Kurbanov, head of the regional paramedic service,said Saturday that a total of 38 people remainedhospitalized, 17 of them military personnel.
