Jeddah, Dec 6, SPA -- Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister Abdullah Gul said Tuesday that the significance of the Third extraordinary summit, opening in Makkah on Wednesday is that the headquarters of the Organization of Islamic Conference are located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement to SPA, he thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul-aziz for convening this summit in the holy city to chart out a new course for the Islamic world and examine challenges facing it in the 21st century.
