Washington, Mar 1, SPA -- During an extended review period, the Bush administration will be able to persuade the U.S. Congress to accept a deal for the management of six major U.S. ports by a state-owned Dubai company, Treasury Secretary John Snow said Tuesday. "I think as Congress looks at this, they're going to be convinced as we were … that this transaction is entirely consistent with the national security," Snow told CNBC financial news television when asked whether the Bush administration could defeat threats by some lawmakers to block the deal.
