Tehran, Jan 19, SPA -- Iran and Tajikistan have signed eight Cooperation Documents and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in the fields of economy and politics. The Cooperation Documents include granting banks' loans, cooperation in the field of standards, transportation, energy, collaboration between the Foreign Ministries in the two countries, constructing a dam and establishing Sangtoudeh-2 power plant in Tajikistan. At the end of his visit, Tajikistani President Emomali Rahmonov and Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadi-Nejad issued a joint declaration which focused on ways of bolstering the bilateral relations between the two countries.--SPA 12 57 Local Time 09 57 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/319806
