Makkah, Dec 8 SPA -- Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadi-Nejad met here today, on the fringe of the Third Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), Bangladeshi Prime Minister Khaleda Zia. They reiterated the importance of implementing the resolutions that have been adopted by the summit. Ahmadi-Nejad highlighted the potentialities of the Muslim world and confirmed the important role that might be played by Bangladesh at the Islamic arena. He reiterated the keenness of Iran on further enhancing relations with Bangladesh. On her part, Khaleda Zia extended an invitation to the Iranian President to visit Bangladesh.
