Kandahar, July 26, SPA -- About 50 suspected Talibanmilitants were killed in fighting with U.S. and Afghanforces in southern Afghanistan, a provincial governor saidTuesday. The fighting late Monday in Uruzgan province's Dihrawuddistrict came during an offensive against a rebel camp,which had been used as a base for attacks in neighboringareas, Gov. Jan Mohammed Khan said.
