Kabul, April 1, SPA -- Gunmen broke into the home of alocal lawmaker in northern Afghanistan and killed himSaturday, the latest in a string of attacks againstregional leaders, officials said. Sayed Sadeq, the speaker of the Tahhar provincialgoverning assembly, died in hospital after receivingmultiple gunshots to his body, said Ghulam Hazarat, thedeputy local police chief.
