Warri, Nigeria, Feb 18, SPA -- Armed militants launched a wave ofattacks across Nigeria's troubled Niger delta Saturday,blowing up oil and gas pipelines and seizing nine foreignoil workers in the latest violence to strike the troubledregion. In an e-mail to The Associated Press, the Movement for theEmancipation of the Niger Delta claimed responsibility forthe attacks and seizing the oil workers from a boatbelonging to U.S. oil service firm Wilbros.
