London, July 19, SPA -- Prime Minister Tony Blair met leaders ofBritain's Muslim community on Tuesday, The Associated Press reported. "There is a profound challenge. I think everyone here isup to that challenge," Shahid Malik, a lawmaker fromDewsbury, said after the 90-minute meeting. Some 25 representatives of the Muslim community, includingall four Muslim members of Parliament, met with the primeminister.
