Baghdad, June 20, SPA -- A suicide car bomber killed 20 traffic policemen Monday outside the unit's headquarters in the northern Kurdish city of Irbil, killing at least 20 and wounding 100, police and hospital officials said. The bomber, wearing a police uniform, slammed his car into a gathering of some 200 traffic policemen in a courtyard behind the headquarters at 8 a.m., police Lt. Sulaiman Mohammed said. At least 20 died and 100 were wounded, The Associated Press quoted Dr. Mohammed Ali of Irbil Hospital as saying.
