New Delhi, May 23, SPA -- Police boosted security at cinemas in NewDelhi on Monday as they investigated bombs that killed atleast one person and wounded 50 at two theaters showing afilm condemned by Sikhs. Another explosion Monday injuredone man, but it was unclear if it was linked to the cinemablasts. The cinema bombs struck 15 minutes apart late Sunday attheaters showing the Hindi-language film "Jo Bole SoNihal," which Sikh leaders have said offends their faithby showing a Sikh character chased by scantily clad women. "Security has been stepped up at cinema halls. Policehave been asked to be vigilant and alert at publicplaces," The Associated Press quoted federal Home Minister Shivraj Patil as saying Monday.
