United Nations, March 12, SPA -- The United Nations Economic and Social Council has voted to adopt a resolution calling upon Israel to abide by the Geneva Convention and facilitate the return of all refugees and displaced Palestinian women and their families. The non-binding resolution was adapted as part of the agenda on the Commission on the Status of Women, a two-week conference at UN Headquarters in New York.
