United Nations, Aug 24, SPA -- UN's Secretary General Kofi Annan has welcomed the progress attained in drafting the Iraqi permanent constitution. A spokesman for the UN said Annan hoped that the concerned parties would reach an agreement that meets the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
