Baghdad, July 18, SPA -- Gunmen killed three policemen and a government worker walking to work in Baghdad, officialssaid Monday, one day after four suicide car bombings killed22 people. Insurgents in a car opened fire Monday on a police patrolin the eastern New Baghdad neighborhood of the capital,killing two policemen, police 1st Lt. Ali Abaas said. In a separate attack in the same neighborhood, police Col.Alaa Hussein was killed near his home late Sunday, Abbassaid.
