Kathmandu, June 27, SPA -- Nepal's anti-corruption commissionon Monday cleared former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deubaand six members of his sacked Cabinet of corruptioncharges. Deuba still remains in detention in a separate case, butthe Royal Commission on Corruption Control acquitted him ofillegally distributing 3.8 million rupees (US$55,000;¤44,000) of state funds to party workers last year. The sixformer ministers were freed after being cleared of the samecharges.
