Vienna, Austria, May 30, SPA -- Fighting corruption, battlingpoverty and improving living standards are Kyrgyzstan'smain priorities, the Central Asian country's actingpresident told a key security group Monday. In a speech to the Vienna-based Organization for Security andCooperation in Europe Kurmanbek Bakiyev said : "The government is currently working on a set of comprehensive actions to combat corruption, designed primarily to prevent, not to persecute, aiming to identify and eradicate the preconditions for corruption.
