The leaders agreed Friday on the need for the twocountries to work together on territorial claims on a setof islets at the center of a dispute between South Koreaand Japan, South Korea's Yonhap news agency said. The rockyislets are called Dokdo in Korean and Takeshima inJapanese. U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan, who is also attendingthe Asian-African summit, told reporters he hopeddiplomatic attempts to induce North Korea to rejoin thesix-party talks would soon succeed. Asked how the U.N.
