Madrid, Feb 11, SPA -- German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder,ailing with the flu, has canceled plans to attend a townhall-style meeting Friday evening with counterparts fromSpain and France to promote the European constitution, theGerman Embassy said. Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, also due toattend, pulled out Wednesday for the same reason. That leaves Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis RodriguezZapatero and French President Jacques Chirac as theremaining members of the original cast of four for thepublic meeting at a Barcelona theater.
