Khartoum, May 5, SPA -- Thousands of Sudanese have fledtheir homes in the south to escape increasing and brutalraids on their villages by Ugandan rebels, the UnitedNations said. Refugees who have fled to U.N. camps have said rebels fromthe Lord's Resistance Army swept into their villages,hacking residents to death, cutting off victims' lips,burning houses and destroying crops, the United NationsAdvance Mission in Sudan said in a statement releasedWednesday.
