Saudi Security Authorities disclose identities of Four Assailants, says official sour

Riyadh, Dec 7, SPA -- The Saudi security authorities have disclosed the identities of four of the assailants who attacked the US consulate in Jeddah on Monday, Dec 6, 2004, said an official source at the Interior Ministry today. The official source pointed out that all these four assailants were Saudis. Three of them namely: Fayez bin Owad Al-Juhani, Eid bin Dakheel-Allah Al-Juhani and Hassan bin Hamid Al-Hazimi were killed. "Interest dictates to withhold the name of the fourth one who was injured in the incident." The official source noted that procedures were underway to get acquainted with the identity of the fifth who was killed at the scene. Meanwhile, the official source categorically denied the reports which said that some of the personnel of the National Guard were killed. As regards injuries, they were as mentioned in the statement issued by the Interior Ministry on Monday, Dec 6, 2004, which said that five were injured, and most of them were discharged from the hospital, the official source added--SPA 1431 Local Time 1131 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/223006
