Hussein with lethal chemicals Amsterdam, Netherlands, Dec 7, SPA -- Prosecutors said Tuesday they will charge a 62-year-old Dutchman with genocide andwar crimes for supplying Saddam Hussein with lethalchemicals that were used in the 1988 chemical attack on theKurdish town of Halabja. Wim de Bruin of the national prosecutor's office said theman, who was arrested in Amsterdam on Monday, will facecharges "for violating the laws of war and involvement ingenocide." "The man is suspected of delivering thousands of tons ofraw materials for chemical weapons to the former regime inBaghdad between 1984 and 1988," prosecutors said in astatement.
