Amsterdam, Netherlands, April 10, SPA -- U.S. authorities prevented aDutch airliner from entering U.S. airspace during a flightfrom Amsterdam to Mexico City because it deemed two peopleon board to be a security risk, the airline said Sunday. The KLM Royal Dutch Airlines flight was approaching theU.S. border from Canada on Friday when it was told it wouldnot be allowed into U.S. airspace because of the twopassengers, KLM spokesman Bart Koster said. Their nameswere not released. The plane returned to Amsterdam.
