London, April 28, SPA -- Prime Minister Tony Blair's office, tryingto defuse a row over Iraq a week before Britain's generalelection, said Thursday that the attorney general's adviceon the legality of the U.S.-led war will be published infull. The announcement came after a TV channel said it hadobtained a leaked copy of a memo sent to Blair fromAttorney General Lord Goldsmith in which he warned theinvasion could be deemed illegal without a second U.N.Security Council resolution specifically authorizingmilitary action. The leaked document again thrust the ferocious debateabout the U.S.-led invasion and Blair's integrity to theforefront of the election campaign. Blair insisted he did not lie about the legal case for warin Iraq, but the opposition Conservative Party said theleaked document proved he did. The Associated Press quoted Blair's Downing Street office as saying that the full text of the memo would be released later Thursday, something Blair had adamantly refused to do in the past. "You have probably got it all anyway. I see no reason notto publish it," Blair told reporters.--SPA1332 Local Time 1032 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/258530
