Bangkok, March 31, SPA -- Three Thai Muslims were sentencedto life imprisonment Thursday after being convicted oncharges related to an attack last year on a police stationin southern Thailand. The provincial court in the southern province of Yala sentenced Saomari Samae, Kamarudin Biding and Lukmai Samaeto life imprisonment for their part in an armed attack on apolice station in the province, 1,080 kilometers (670miles) south of Bangkok, on Jan. 7, 2004. No one wasinjured in the incident.
