Israeli forces wound two Palestinians in Gaza

Gaza City, Gaza Strip, March 14, SPA -- Israeli forces shot andwounded two unarmed Palestinian teens Monday after theyentered a no-go zone near the border fence between Gaza andIsrael. Mahmoud Ibrahim, 17, and Fahad Agha, 16, were shot nearthe Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza, Palestinianhospital officials said. Ibrahim was treated at a localhospital for a shot to the shoulder, chest and leg, andAgha was arrested by Israeli soldiers, the officials said. An Israeli military spokeswoman said forces opened fire onthree Palestinians in a closed area near the Israel-Gazafence, hitting one. He was taken to an Israeli hospital fortreatment, the spokeswoman said, while the other twoescaped. The spokeswoman said the Palestinians were notarmed. Also Monday, a Palestinian hit by Israeli gunfire 18months ago died of his wounds in a Nablus hospital, healthofficials said. The officials identified the man as Adham Ashalan, 20, whowas shot while throwing stones at Israeli troops nearNablus. Relatives said he was the third member of hisfamily to die in Israeli-Palestinian clashes.
