Quetta, June 26, SPA -- Three rockets hit the perimeterwall of the home of the top government official in southwestern Pakistan on Sunday, wounding a guard and shattering windows at the building, an official said. Jam Mohammed Yousaf, chief minister of the southwesternBaluchistan province, and his family were in the provincialcapital Quetta when the pre-dawn attack on his family homehappened in Kalat, a town about 200 kilometers (125 miles)south of Quetta, said Maj. Akbar Lashari, a paramilitaryofficial. A private guard at the home was slightly hurt by shrapnelfrom one of the rockets, The Associated Press quoted Lashari as saying.
