Miana Shien, Afghanistan, June 25, SPA -- Afghan forces scouringmountains in southern Afghanistan after some of thedeadliest fighting since the fall of the Taliban in 2001have found the bodies of another 76 rebels, the DefenseMinistry said Saturday. The new fatalities bring the death toll to 178 fromfighting in the Miana Shien district of Kandahar provincesince Tuesday, ministry spokesman Zahir Marad said. "Our forces have collected the bodies of 76 more rebelsfrom the battlefield," he said. Marad said he had not received any reports from Afghanarmy commanders as to whether the fighting was stillcontinuing. Gen.
