terrorism financing The Hague, Netherlands, June 13, SPA -- The Unites States, Britainand the Netherlands will hold a conference early next yearon how to cut funding of terrorist organizations, the Dutchfinance minister said Monday after meeting with the U.S.treasury secretary. No details were released about the venue or date of theplanned conference other than that it would be held inearly 2006. U.S. Treasure Secretary John Snow, who stopped in theNetherlands on a European trip, discussed methods ofcutting money flows to terrorists with Dutch FinanceMinister Gerrit Zalm. Zalm "is a global leader in anti-terrorism efforts andefforts to make sure the financial systems are securedagainst terrorist threats," Snow told reporters.
