On his part, Crown Prince Abdullah expressed appreciation for the heartfelt feelings spelt out by Chirac, and highlighted the existing strong relations between the Kingdom and France. He noted that France is not only one of the big countries of the world, but it also stands as a symbol for illumination, moderation and tolerance. Crown Prince Abdullah said the Saudi-French relations are not only confined to one domain, but they comprise cultural, economic and defense cooperation as well as service of mutual interests.
