Baghdad, March 19, SPA -- Attackers gunned down a policeofficer heading to work Saturday in the oil-rich northernIraq city of Kirkuk, then bombed a funeral processioncarrying his corpse, killing three other policemen andinjuring two, officials said. The attackers sprayed automatic-weapon fire from avehicle, killing the policeman as he made his way to thestation house early Saturday, police Capt. Ahmed Shinranisaid.
