threat Seoul, Oct 3, SPA -- South Korea's military was puton alert for terrorist attacks Sunday after an audiotapeattributed to an al-Qaida leader urged Muslim youths toattack the United States and its allies, including SouthKorea, according to a news agency. The Joint Chiefs of Staff called for heightened securityaround major state and military facilities, and ordered thesharing of terrorism-related intelligence with stateorganizations, according to South Korea's Yonhap newsagency.
