Beit Lahiya, Gaza Strip, Jan 4, SPA -- An Israeli tank fired two shells in response to Palestinian mortar attacks Tuesday,killing seven Palestinians and wounding six in thedeadliest single incident in the Gaza Strip in threemonths. The shells slammed into fields as farmers were pickingpotatoes and strawberries, witnesses said.
