Jeddah, Jan 4, SPA -- The General Secretariat of the Jeddah-based Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has decided to dispatch observers for following up the presidential elections in Palestine, due to be held on Sunday, January 9, 2005. A statement released by the OIC's General Secretariat said the observers team will leave Jeddah later today under the leadership of Saaduddin Al-Tayyeb, the Advisor of the OIC's Secretary General. Members of the seven-member team will be split up at the constituencies in the West Bank and Gaza.
