southern neighborhood Baghdad, Nov 15, SPA -- A mortar attack in southern BaghdadMonday killed seven Iraqis and wounded seven others,including women and children, hospital officials andresidents said. The 10:30 a.m. (0730GMT) explosion left smashed cars andpools of blood on the asphalt in the Abu-Deshir district ofBaghdad's Doura neighborhood. The carcasses of severalcars, their windows and doors blown out, were in flames.Bits of shrapnel littered the street. Raghad Abed al-Janabi, a doctor at Yarmouk Hospital, saidfour of the victims died immediately while three others,including a three-year old child, died at the hospital.
