Tehran, Oct 5, SPA -- Iran said Tuesday its missiles nowhave a range of 2,000 kilometers (1,250 miles), a substantial extension of their previously declared range. "Today we have the power to fire missiles to a range of2,000 kilometers," former President Hashemi Rafsanjanisaid, according to a report by the official IslamicRepublic News Agency. "Experts know that a country that possesses this canobtain all subsequent stages" in missile production,Rafsanjani told staff at the Aerospace Research Institutein Tehran.
