Tokyo, Nov 30, SPA -- The planned withdrawal of Dutch troops fromIraq in March does not signal an unraveling of the multinational coalition helping to reconstruct the war-torn country, Dutch Defense Minister Henk Kamp said Tuesday. Kamp, in Tokyo to meet with Japanese officials, said theDutch went into southern Iraq's al-Muthana province under aUnited Nations resolution with a clear mission _ to helptrain a local Iraqi security force. With that mission accomplished, it was time for theNetherlands to leave and for other nations to pitch in,Kamp said. "We believe we have done more than our fair share," hetold reporters at Tokyo's Foreign Correspondents Club, whenasked whether the upcoming withdrawal by Dutch and Czechforces, as well as a planned scale-back by Polish troopssignaled a crumbling of the multinational coalition.--SPA1439 Local Time 1139 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/220835
