Gaza City, Gaza Strip, Nov 6, SPA -- Palestinian Prime MinisterAhmed Qureia traveled to the Gaza Strip on Saturday fortalks with various Palestinian groups aimed at preserving calm during Yasser Arafat's absence, Qureia's office said. After initial indications that the meeting would becanceled, Qureia left the Palestinian governmentheadquarters in the West Bank at midmorning. In Gaza, Qureia was to meet with leaders of variousPalestinian security forces, as well as the Islamicgroups -- Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The groups met in Gaza on Friday in a show of unity.
