Iran has called the demand "illegal" and threatened tolimit cooperation with the International Atomic EnergyAgency if it moves toward imposing sanctions. The Russian Foreign Ministry said that the U.N. agency'sresolution on Iran adopted Saturday represented acompromise. "The resolution gives markers on how to remove all theoutstanding questions in the optimal way, throughcooperation," the ministry said in a statement. "Inparticular, it addresses an appeal to Tehran to renew themoratorium on all enrichment work. We, too, support thisappeal."--SPA1259 Local Time 0959 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/203197
