Washington, Sept 29, SPA -- President George W. Bush, preparing for this week's highly anticipated campaign debate on foreign policy, is insisting Iran will not develop a nuclear weapon while he is president. "My hope is that we can solve this diplomatically," Bush said in a television interview broadcast late Monday. "We are working [very hard] so that they don't develop a nuclear weapon, and the best way to do so is to continue to keep international pressure on them." Asked whether he would allow Iran to build an atomic bomb, the president replied, "No, we've made it clear, our position is that they won't have a nuclear weapon."--SPA1131 Local Time 0831 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/206551
