Gaza City, Gaza Strip, Oct 26, SPA -- Palestinian nationalist fighters in the northern Gaza Strip fired a homemade rocket into Israel onTuesday, Palestinian residents said. There were no reportsof injuries or damage. Witnesses reported a large explosion on the Israeli sideof the Erez crossing, which divides Israel from the GazaStrip. The Israeli army said militants had launched threeprojectiles _ either mortars or homemade Qassam rockets _near the crossing.
