Washington, Sept 11, SPA -- Washington-based Center of Study of Islam and Democracy issued here last night a statement condemning and deploring violence and terrorism. The statement, issued on behalf of the American Muslims on the occasion of the third anniversary of the incidents of Sept 11 , said Islam is the religion of justice and peace, and added 'Al-Qa'eda Organization and Osama bin Ladin don't represent Islam' The statement condemned the criminal practices of Al-Qa'eda, and said they run counter to the teachings of Islam. Meanwhile, the statement underlined the importance of the settlement of the Middle East problem in a manner that realizes justice for the Palestinians and security for Israel.
