Copenhagen, Denmark, Sha'ban 25, 1434, Jul 4, 2013, SPA - U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has appealed for a peaceful settlement in Egypt, saying he will personally deliver a message to the country's leaders on Thursday. Ban says that the "voices and aspirations of the people should have been heard," but that the important thing now is to restore the democratic process in a peaceful way in a "very volatile" situation. He told reporters during a visit to the Danish capital that he was in contact with Egyptian "leaders," but did not say whom he meant. He added that he will deliver a message in person to them later Thursday, according to a report of the Associated Press. --SPA 15:14 LOCAL TIME 12:14 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/1126495
